- Heat a cooker, add ghee, rai, jeera and curry leaves. Add chopped carrot and capsicum. Saute for 3 minutes.
- Add chopped tomatoes and fry for another 2 minutes..
- Add washed and drained rice and dal. Stir it for few minutes. Add salt, red chilli powder and turmeric..
- Add 4cups water. Close the lid of cooker. Cook till 5whistles. Open and mix well. Serve hot.
